I’d like to introduce you to my angel daughter Jiya.⁣⁣

This is the first time I’ve ever posted a photo of her on my blog and social media and I’ve debated long and hard about whether I want her photo ‘out there’. ⁣⁣But today I’ve decided I need to post this particular photo – Jiya’s hands on her heart. ⁣

This is the reality of late miscarriage/stillbirth, whatever you want to call it.⁣ There is a person behind the terminology.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
A real little person. With fingers and toes. With a heart that beat. With blood that flowed through their veins. With organs that worked. A real little person. ❤⁣⁣
⁣⁣
They may not have been present on this earth for very long, but they were a real person, whose short presence has changed the course of the world.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
They have changed the course of the world because hearts have been touched, hearts that now beat a little differently, voices that now speak with greater depth and lives that are now being lived with greater purpose.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
So please look past the terminology and see the little person that has had the almighty power to change the world. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
